Monroe Fire Department Polaris ATV Brush Unit is utilized for brush firefighting in remote areas and also rescues in remote areas. The ATV unit contains the following equipment: 50 gallon poly tank 5.5 HP Honda engine 9.5 GPM Hy-Pro piston pump 100' Manual reel with 1/2"line and nozzle 20' 1/2" line with nozzle Stokes Carrier Special Thank you to Blooming Grove Stair Company for the donation of this vehicle. Thank you also to the New York State DEC for assisting with funding the pump through a DEC grant.
