Located at Station 1, Engine 543 is first due to all car/rubbish fires and second due to all MVA's. With it's short wheelbase E543 is perfect for small driveways and other hard to access areas. Due to it's versatility Engine 543 is designated as the Mutual Aid rig for any 'engine to scene', FAST (Firefighter Assist and Search Team) calls, or standby requests.
