Mutual Aid - Working Structure Fire - Ballie Lane            (South Blooming Grove Fire District)

On Sunday, July 1st, at approximately 3:50AM, the Monroe Fire Dept. was dispatched mutual aid 1 Engine, 1 Truck and 1 Tanker to the scene of a working structure fire on Ballie Lane (off of Rt 208) in the South Blooming Grove Fire District. Monroe Truck 538 responded and performed aerial Tower operations, Engine 543 responded and assisted with setting up a drafting operation out of a nearby pond, and Engine 537 responded and assisted with water operations as a relay engine. Monroe units were back in service by approximately 10:30AM. Harriman FD stoodby at Monroe's Station 1 and Woodbury FD was on auto-response with 1 Truck. The standby units responded to several alarms in Monroe while Monroe units were operation in South Blooming Grove.
