On Tuesday, July 24th, at approximately 9:15 PM, the Monroe Fire Department. was dispatched mutual aid to a MVA on Rt. 208 in the South Blooming Grove Fire District. The South Blooming Grove FD was operating at a serious 2 car head-on motor vehicle accidents requiring extrication of patients from two of the vehicles. Monroe FD responded with Rescue 540 and performed extrication on the 2nd vehicle. Two patients were flown by helicopter to Westchester Trauma Center.
