On Thursday March 12th at approximately 7:20 PM, the Monroe Fire Dept. was dispatched to a reported Structure Fire at 103 Franklin Ave in the Village of Monroe. First arriving officer advised units of a working structure on the second floor of a single family dwelling. The fire, which was quickly knocked down, was confined to the room of origin. Monroe was assisted at the scene by Monroe Ambulance, Monroe PD, and Orange County FI-4. Monroe units were back in service by 9:00 PM. Harriman FD was on standby in Monroe's Station 1.
