On Monday June 14, 1999 at 7:10 pm the Monroe Fire Dept. was dispatched to an MVA with entrapment in front of the Rt.17M Gulf station. First arriving units encountered several injured subjects with one occupant still in the vehicle. Firefighters first stabilized the patient and vehicle, then proceeded to free the trapped occupant. Patients were transported by Monroe Vol. Ambulance with moderate injuries. The Monroe Fire Dept. was back in service by 8:00 pm.
