The Monroe Fire Dept. ushered in the New Year with a Structure Fire in the Village of Monroe. The fire occured at Bagel Wizard located in the KMart Shopping Center on 17M. A quick interior attack confined the fire to the kitchen area of the store. Due to extensive smoke travelling to several other attached stores, additional ventilation fans were requested from the Harriman Fire Dept. Woodbury Fire Dept also assisted with their FAST team.
