On Wednesday November 3, 1999 at 8:10am, the Monroe Fire Dept. was dispatched by Orange County Fire Control (36-Control) for one Truck mutual aid to a structure fire in the Woodbury Fire District. The fire occurred at the Central Valley Inn on Smith Clove Road. Monroe Truck 538 responded along with one Engine Harriman FD to the scene, and one Engine Cornwall stoodby in Woodbury (Highland Mills) firehouse.
