On Saturday, November 29th, at approximately 10:20 PM, the Monroe Fire Dept. was dispatched to a reported Motor Vehicle Accident with fire on Pine Tree Rd. First arriving Chief's found a one car rollover with a victim trapped under the vehicle. Luckily, the vehicle was not on fire. Monroe Firefighters used rescue air bags and the jaws of life to free the victim from the vehicle. A Medivac helicopter transported the victim to the nearest hospital. Monroe PD and Monroe EMS operated at the scene with the Monroe Fire Dept. Harriman FD assisted with the Medivac Landing Zone and Woodbury FD provided a Rescue on standby in Monroe's station 1.
