11/30/00 M/A MVA Rt 6 (Woodbury FD)
On Thrusday November 30, 2000 at approximately 11:40 am the Monroe Fire Dept. was dispatched Mutual Aid 1 Rescue to a Jaws-of-life MVA on Rt. 6 in the Woodbury Fire District. The two car mva required extensive extrication to one vehicle requiring the patient to be flown to Westchester Trauma Center. Monroe units responded with Rescue 540 and assisted Woodbury with extrication, fire police, and setting up of a landing zone for Stat-Flite. The Harriman Fire Dept. provided standby coverage for Monroe and Woodbury FD's while also responding to a reported second incident on Route 6.
